The floating panel
Dooze lives at the edge of your screen. It is there when you need it and invisible when you do not.
The launcher and the panel
Two windows work together. The launcher is the small icon at the screen edge. The panel is where you work, Chat, Voice, and Notetaker.
Two modes
The launcher has two resting states. You can choose which one to use in Settings.
Micro: a small circle at the edge. Minimal footprint. Hover to reveal the action buttons.
Mini: action buttons (Chat, Voice, Notetaker) are always visible at the edge. No hover required.
In either mode, hovering expands the launcher to show labels next to the buttons. Click a button to open the full panel.
Pin mode
Toggle the pin icon to keep the panel above other windows. When unpinned, it behaves like a regular window, it can fall behind whatever you are working in.
Drag to reposition
Drag the launcher vertically to any position along the screen edge. Your position persists across sessions.
Following you across screens
When you switch to an app on a different monitor, Dooze follows. It repositions to the right edge of whichever screen has the active app.
The position is ratio-based. It stays proportionally in the same spot regardless of screen size.
It only moves when the launcher is collapsed, not while you are working in the panel.
