Ask, Polish, Summarize
Three ways to work with dooze. Ask anything. Polish your writing. Summarize the long stuff.
Ask
Click Ask on the launcher, or hold Option and speak. Type your question and press Enter.
dooze uses any captured context automatically — no need to paste or explain. Conversations save automatically.
Click the clock icon to revisit past conversations. Click + to start fresh.
Click the ghost icon to go incognito — the conversation will not be saved and no memories will be extracted.
Web search
dooze can search the web for current information. Three modes: Auto (dooze decides), Required (always search), Off (never search). Toggle in the model dropdown.
Polish
Capture some text — select it and copy, or paste directly. Click Polish.
dooze fixes grammar, spelling, and tone. Then choose: Replace swaps the original text in the source app. Insert Below adds the result beneath the original. Copy puts it on your clipboard.
Not quite right? Type feedback — "make it shorter", "more casual" — and dooze adjusts.
Per-app rules
In Settings > Apps, you can set polish rules for specific apps. For example, always use formal tone in Outlook.
Summarize
Capture long text, click Summarize. dooze condenses it to the essential points.
Same actions as Polish: Replace, Insert Below, Copy. Same refinement: "focus on the action items", "bullet points."
